What is it?

Microsoft Teams is one of the video call platforms Performy's Notetaker recognizes automatically (along with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex). When you connect your calendar or invite the bot to a Microsoft Teams meeting, it joins on its own, records the conversation, transcribes it, and triggers the full analysis — no file uploads required.

Where it lives: Meetings → Invite notetaker (manual) — or Profile → Calendar auto-join (automatic)
1

Connect your calendar (recommended)

From your Profile, go to the Calendar auto-join section and click Connect with Google. You'll authorize calendar access, and from then on the Notetaker automatically joins any Microsoft Teams meeting on your calendar — no action needed per meeting. Calendar auto-join currently works reliably with Google Calendar; if your team uses Outlook, check with the Performy team whether the integration is enabled for your account yet.

2

Or invite it to a specific call

If you'd rather not connect your calendar, go to Meetings and click Invite notetaker, paste the Microsoft Teams meeting link, and give it a title. The bot joins as a participant, labeled "Assistant for [your name]".

3

The bot records and transcribes the call

You can follow its status in real time, from "Ready" through "Recording". Once the call ends, the bot uploads the recording and Performy transcribes it automatically, identifying each speaker.

4

Performy analyzes the conversation on its own

With the transcript ready, Performy classifies the meeting, evaluates it against your playbook, and generates the summary, action items, and a draft follow-up email — with nothing left for you to upload or trigger.
