What is it?

If your PBX or phone system doesn't have a native Performy integration (it isn't Ringover, Aircall, or Twilio), this option lets you connect it anyway, through a shared-secret webhook.

Where it lives: Your PBX / phone system settings → Outbound webhooks
1

Activate the generic integration in Performy

From the admin panel, activate the generic telephony integration. You'll get an integration_id and a webhook_secret.

2

Configure the outbound webhook in your system

Point your PBX or phone system to https://api.performy.ai/api/webhooks/phone/generic/{integration_id}/, sending the webhook_secret in the X-Performy-Secret header. The endpoint must be HTTPS, since the secret travels as a credential, not a body signature.

3

One event per call

Unlike other providers, which first announce that the call ended and later send the recording separately, the generic integration expects your system to send everything together in a single COMPLETE event: duration, participants, and recording link in one request.

4

Performy does the rest

It validates the secret, normalizes the data, downloads the recording, and triggers the analysis against your playbook automatically.
