What is it?
Smart Follow-up reaches the rep by email so they can review it and send it to the customer. But every call also produces information that isn't for the customer, it's for the team: the MEP Score, the objections, the competitor mentioned, whether the call closed with a next step. With the Slack integration, when an analyzed call finishes Performy posts a summary to the channel you choose, at the moment you define, without anyone having to open the platform.
Connect your workspace
As an admin, click Connect with Slack and authorize Performy to post in your workspace. The connection uses Slack's official OAuth flow and the token is stored encrypted. Once connected, the Slack section inside the Smart Follow-up settings is enabled.
Choose up to three destinations
You can turn on all three at once, each with its own channel and its own delivery timing:
- Team channel. Everyone sees the summary of every call. Ideal for teams that share wins and learnings in the open.
- Private manager channel. Only the manager sees their team's summaries, without opening Performy.
- Direct message to the rep. Each rep gets the analysis of their own call in Slack.
Define when each message arrives
Timing is set per destination, independently:
- Immediate. The message arrives when the analysis finishes, at most 3 minutes after the call is processed.
- Daily summary. A single message with all of the day's calls, at the time you set (18:00 by default).
- Only when there's a signal. The message is sent only if the MEP Score falls below or rises above the thresholds you define, for example below 6.0 or 8.5 and above (a Golden Call).
Test before you turn it on
With Send test message, Performy posts a sample message with fictional data to the selected channel, so you can see how it looks before enabling the destination.
What your team sees in Slack
Each message is an organized block with the call type, the MEP Score, playbook adherence, talk ratio, whether a next step was confirmed and a short summary, with direct links to the analysis and the transcript.
Call analyzed — Discovery
MEP Score 7.6 / 10
Playbook adherence: 74% · Next step: confirmed
The customer mentioned an approved budget, but the final decision involves the CFO. Main objection: implementation time.
There are two more variants: the Golden Call, for calls that can serve as a team reference, and the alert, for calls that need attention (for example, no next step or a competitor mentioned). The daily summary lists one line per call with the day's average MEP.
The content follows the custom output instructions you already set for Smart Follow-up. One instruction works for both email and Slack.
What happens if something changes
- If a rep doesn't have an account in your workspace, their direct message is skipped without errors.
- If you delete a channel in Slack, or Performy's access is revoked or expires, the connection records it and the admin is emailed to reconnect.
- If a call couldn't be analyzed, nothing is sent. If the day had no calls, no empty summary is sent.
- If you disconnect Slack, destinations are turned off but your configuration is kept, and when you reconnect everything is as you left it.
