What is it?
Twilio is the cloud communications platform many companies use to build their own calling systems. Performy connects via signed webhooks: every call event triggers automatic analysis.
Activate the integration in Performy
From the admin panel, activate the Twilio integration and enter your Twilio Auth Token. Performy uses it to verify the signature of every incoming webhook — never to place outbound calls.
Configure the voice webhook in Twilio
In the Twilio Console, on your number's configuration, point the status callback or call-completion webhook to https://api.performy.ai/api/webhooks/phone/twilio/{integration_id}/. Twilio signs every request with the X-Twilio-Signature header, computed with your Auth Token over the exact URL and POST parameters — Performy validates that signature before touching the database.
If you use a proxy or load balancer
Twilio signs over the exact public URL it called. If your infrastructure routes the webhook through a proxy, make sure the X-Forwarded-Proto header comes through correctly, or signature verification will fail.
Automatic analysis
With the call validated and normalized, Performy downloads the recording, transcribes it, and generates the full analysis against your playbook.
